Brand Identity and Packaging for an Extra Virgin Olive Oil Maker and Retailer

Did you know that most olive oils on the market are white-labeled products? For La Finca Ramosa, a family-run olive oil farm in Toledo that grows, harvests, and packages its award-winning extra virgin olive oil, we wanted to be an open book. We wanted the packaging to be more than just a container; it's a manifesto that boldly showcases every detail about the product's features, origin, flavor profiles, and suggested pairings.

We crafted a unique typography system to reflect the farm/product's heritage and passion. The handwritten logomark and brand name evoke the personal touch of the family and farmworkers, while the wood-type-inspired product descriptor honors the centuries-old olive groves. The playful art deco style for the product flavor adds a touch of sophistication, and the delicate cursive for flavor profiling adds softness and creates necessary hierarchy.

The social strategy revolves around inspiring culinary creativity. By pairing images of specific dishes with the ideal olive oil variety—just as it's done in Spain—La Finca Ramosa EVOO offers practical guidance and encourages kitchen experimentation, inviting consumers to embark on a flavorful culinary journey.
